Gelombang

I am the eye in the sky, looking at youuu.. I can read your mind, karena dalam hidup ini memang tidak pernah ada yang kebetulan. Iya, kan, Tuhan? (Atau siapapun yang baca ini?)

August

This is an attempt of documenting one of the most random conversation I have ever had, one that seems to linger in my memory, on one night I met a very captivating soul. I remember we mentioned Jane Goodall, but can't remember who said the name first. Sitting face to face to each other, he told me and a friend of mine that he wished to be born in the 1960's, just to go back to Gombe Stream, Tanzania, and ask Jane Goodall to married him. The conversation then led to another topics, from human nature to why do we have to exist. I remember, with a tilted head, a half-crooked and half-disoriented smile, I said to myself, and silently to a person I probably won't have the chance to meet ever again: I think you are wonderful. Don't worry, my admiration has never been overwhelming. I'm content just by knowing that your kind of people are really alive.

The chances of having random conversations and experiencing unexpected connections--aren't these all that make us go by, day by day, just to know that we are truly alive?
